Amplify Your Leadership

Self-Awareness is the Key to Success

Assessments help managers and teams understand themselves, their drivers, intentions and behaviour better!

With greater self-awareness managers can adapt and flex their own interpersonal communication and leadership skills to increase and enhance employee engagement and productivity.

When managers have deeper self-awareness they become more confident in their own leadership and how they can step up to their role more effectively.

Teams can shift from peeved to productive when they can understand each other better. An assessment, with a thorough debrief session, provides, in the first instance, the knowledge needed to understand styles and behaviours, plus the space for discussion and clarification which removes barriers and old conflict triggers.

I am certified to administer a range of assessments. Let’s have a conversation if you can see a need to:

  • improve interpersonal communication amongst a team;

  • engage more quickly and effectively with your team in order to improve performance and productivity;

  • work out how to motivate and re-engage the team;

  • assist your team through uncertain times;

  • want to identify high potentials for future leadership roles;

  • find a way to resolve conflict quickly and effectively;

  • want your managers to focus on key areas for their leadership development;

  • use a profile tool for your hiring or promotional processes; or

provide a platform for leadership development, as part of a program.

Developing awareness can be for an individual, team or whole organisation.

Who is this for:

✓ Managers and leaders who have a responsibility to engage, motivate, and drive the performance of others.

✓ Professionals who want to learn more about themself so they can be even more productive contributors.

✓ Professionals who want to improve their self-leadership through increased and improved self-awareness.

✓ Professionals who know that with ongoing professional development they are going to have ongoing career success.

✓ Business owners and entrepreneurs who want to be better leaders and engage others more effectively

DISC Self and DISC 360

As the world’s most popular behavioural assessment, DISC offers a simple solution with profound results. Learn how to identify the behavioural styles of others and adapt your communication to increase sales, assemble teams, target new hires, develop “rockstar” leaders, and more.

The DISC report trains managers to: (a) know their natural behavioural tendencies, (b) identify their employees’ observable behaviours, and (c) adapt their leadership style to optimise the employees’ work style.

Enhance the traditional DISC self-assessment with anonymous observer data. Using the same questionnaire process, observers are asked to provide their perspective on your behaviours and communication style. This feedback assists the individual in uncovering the disconnects between intentions and experience.

As with all of our 360º assessments, the DISC 360º includes an unlimited number of observer assessments. Minimum three observers.

Emotional Intelligence Self & 360

Research indicates that Emotional Intelligence (EIQ) can be learned and can be seen as measurable differences directly associated with professional and personal success. Furthermore, it may be responsible for up to 80% of the success we experience in life. This assessment serves to heighten awareness of our own EIQ, identify relative strengths and weaknesses based on our emotional dispositions, and provide a framework for interpersonal and intrapersonal effectiveness.

The EIQ assessment is a measure of your understanding of how your behaviour affects those around you. However, there is often a disconnect between how we think others perceive us and the reality of how our actions are perceived. This disconnect is where the EIQ 360° assessment fills in the gaps.

Even the best, most self-aware manager may have blind spots in emotional awareness. With the anonymous, honest, and candid feedback from our EIQ 360° providing the bigger picture, behaviours can be modified to support intentions, and your actions can be interpreted as they were intended.

Critical Thinking

The ability to evaluate facts, trends, and situations is vital in today's information age. Organisations are finding critical thinking to be one of the key competencies of highly successful people and leaders. A lack of situational awareness or perceptual biases in critical thinking can lead to compromised decisions costing organisations time, money, resources, people, or worse - their reputation!

Critical thinking is not only the ability to take in information and process it, but to create a plan of action, and act on the plan. Critical thinking takes deep reflection and should take into account the unique judgement biases and filters of the individual.

The position of your star indicates your primary focus, be it Intuitive, Practical, or Conceptual. Closer to the centre indicates more balance in your thinking.

Motivators

Just as the DISC assessment gives insight into “how” someone will behave, the Motivators assessment explains “why.” Motivators are the reasons we want to act. They help people to better understand their value hierarchy or belief system. They filter and guide decisions specifically toward the results that reflect them, and they combine uniquely for each person to influence priorities and decision making. Motivators reveal our viewpoint, our mindset, and our paradigm of thought.

Research shows successful people share a common trait of self-awareness and an awareness of those around them. Through building a greater understanding of the motivator dimensions in general, it becomes easier to see how they influence and guide behaviours to move people forward or keep them still.

The report will give you your uniquely ranked motivators...

Belbin Team Roles

Research shows that the most successful teams are made up of a diverse mix of behaviours; they have access to all nine Belbin Team Roles.

This doesn’t mean that every team requires nine people! Most people will have two or three Team Roles that they are most comfortable with. By using Belbin, individuals have a greater self-understanding of their strengths, which leads to more effective communication between colleagues and managers. Great teams can be put together, existing teams can be understood and improved, and everyone can feel that they are making a difference in the workplace. It also works effectively with leadership and management development, conflict resolution, recruitment, career development, employee engagement and coaching.

Leadership Effectiveness 360

While everyone has innate qualities that make them natural leaders, leadership is a skill that can be learned, practiced, and improved. The insight from this assessment will unlock and enhance the parts of leadership that are natural strengths and help you work on areas with potential for improvement to make you a more well-rounded, balanced, and adaptable leader.

Conflict Dynamics Profile: I and 360

The Conflict Dynamics Profile (CDP), an assessment instrument measuring conflict behaviours, is an excellent resource to increase self-awareness and improve conflict management skills. The CDP is unlike any other assessment tool in that it focuses specifically on conflict behaviours, rather than styles. It helps individuals and teams understand how they respond to conflict, what triggers can escalate conflict, and how to manage conflict more effectively.

Two versions of the instrument—the CDP-Individual (CDP-I) and CDP-360— emphasise an action-oriented approach which leads to real improvement. A thorough Development Guide provides information and tips for coping with conflict and building strong interpersonal relationships.
